As a Concrete Carpenter, you will help build and install concrete formwork for foundations, walls, slabs, columns, and other structural elements for our residential and commercial projects.
You'll work from drawings and project specifications to measure, cut, assemble, and strip forms while supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
This role is ideal for a carpenter who is looking to specialize in concrete form work.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and site specifications accurately to make sure projects are accurate.
Accurately measure, cut, assemble, and strip concrete formwork for a variety of residential and commercial building projects.
Build forms for footings, foundations, walls, slabs, columns, and other concrete structures.
Ensure formwork is level, square, and built to specification.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Support concrete pours and assist with related carpentry and formwork tasks as required.
Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all company and site safety requirements.
Work closely with site supervisors, labourers, and other trades to keep projects moving efficiently.
What You'll Need
A Journeyperson Certificate is preferred; however, candidates with significant, relevant experience will also be considered.
Flat work concrete finishing experience considered a strong asset.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements accurately.
Experience with concrete formwork, layout, and general carpentry on construction sites.
Valid Class 5 driver's licence and access to reliable transportation to get to sites.
