South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust seeks a substantive Old Age Consultant Psychiatrist for Calderdale and Kirklees. The consultant will support mental health liaison at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and Calderdale Royal Hospital. The post integrates psychiatry into acute medical care, working with acute and mental health trust colleagues to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical leadership input to the liaison service
- Integrate psychiatry into acute medical care

Requirements:
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
- Current GMC registration and licence to practise
- Specialist Register inclusion in Liaison or Old Age Psychiatry
- Approved clinician and S12 status, or eligibility within three months
- Clinical leadership experience within multi-professional teams
