Rivercity Inclusion is assuming nursing and care services at this 54-unit senior's assisted living community. As a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide personal care, perform nursing procedures, conduct resident visits, and complete assessments. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within professional standards and legislative scope. The position works independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team while supervising Care Aides.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care for assisted living residents
- Perform nursing procedures and conduct resident visits
- Complete assessments and evaluate nursing care
- Assign Care Aide work and provide performance feedback
- Deliver new employee orientations
Requirements:
- Graduate from an approved Licensed Practical Nursing program
- Maintain current practicing LPN registration with BCCNM
- Bring at least one year of relevant experience
- Work effectively with minimal supervision and flexibility
- Communicate strongly and respond calmly during crises
Support Ironwood Place residents overnight through licensed nursing practice, resident assessments, Care Aide supervision, and professional communication.
