Reporting to the Regional Director, Operations, the General Manager oversees property management and operations for a RioCan portfolio. The position covers building operations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, tenant relations, and financial accountability. Success requires retail property management experience, leadership, and strong communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish strategic goals with Asset Management and Leasing teams
- Manage emergencies, security, contractors, and emergency services
- Lead rent collection and resolve tenant receivable issues
- Prepare budgets and review financial performance reports
- Maintain tenant relationships and oversee lease compliance
Requirements:
- Five to seven years of retail property management experience
- Demonstrated financial management ability
- Exceptional customer service and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Yardi
