Apply PLC programming and SCADA expertise to industrial automation projects at Richardson International’s Winnipeg Corporate Engineering Services office. Support facilities across operational technology systems. As an Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Specialist, you will manage and execute projects involving electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls. The work includes Rockwell PlantPAx, Siemens, FactoryTalk View, Ignition, industrial networking, and complex software tools. You will also support commissioning activities and communicate across operations, maintenance, engineering, and IT/OT teams. Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve operational technology system issues Optimize electrical, instrumentation, and OT systems Develop SCADA screens, tags, alarms, historians, and standards Interpret schematics, P&IDs, and instrumentation documentation Lead commissioning activities in large-scale industrial facilities Requirements:
Three-plus years’ experience in industrial automation environments Diploma or degree in electrical, instrumentation, or controls Experience with EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, and protocol gateways Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and frequent travel availability Bring PLC, SCADA, networking, and troubleshooting expertise to Richardson International’s industrial automation and OT initiatives.
