Lead electrical controls projects from Richardson International’s Winnipeg office, using PLC programming and industrial automation expertise across multiple facilities. As an Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Specialist, you will manage CAPEX projects and provide operational technology support. Your work will involve Rockwell PlantPAx, Siemens, SCADA platforms, industrial networking, and complex software tools. The role supports Richardson International’s Corporate Engineering Services group across agriculture and food processing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute CAPEX control and electrical systems projects
- Develop tender packages, negotiate contracts, and manage vendors
- Lead meetings covering project status, budgets, and performance
- Troubleshoot OT systems and identify process optimization opportunities
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in electrical, instrumentation, or automation controls
- Three-plus years’ industrial automation experience or equivalent education
- Hands-on PLC programming with Rockwell PlantPAx, Siemens, or equivalent SCADA development proficiency, including alarming and historian configuration
- Industrial networking, troubleshooting, commissioning, and project management experience
- Apply electrical controls, PLC, SCADA, and OT expertise to projects supporting Richardson International’s industrial facilities.
