This full-time position is ideal for Red Seal Journeyman Electricians or experienced apprentices in their 2nd or 3rd year. You will play a key role in maintaining electrical circuits, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Collaboration with the Maintenance team and responding to after-hours emergencies will be part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, modify, and maintain electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical control issues
- Assist Maintenance team members in technical tasks
- Ensure compliance with health and safety practices
- Respond to emergency calls on a rotational basis
Requirements:
- Red Seal certification with 2+ years of experience
- Strong skills in electrical schematics and plant automation
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work in challenging environments
- Strong computer proficiency in relevant applications
