The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre seeks a proactive, organized Licensed Practical Nurse or Research Nurse. The Cardiology program recruits 4,000 adults, including healthy participants, people at risk, and those with cardiovascular disease. The position supports clinical research studies through participant coordination, documentation, biospecimen handling, and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit participants for Cardiology research studies
- Obtain informed consent from study participants
- Prepare study documents and process blood samples
- Perform mandatory blood draws and ECGs
- Order supplies and support administrative coverage
Requirements:
- Diploma of College Studies in Nursing
- OIIAQ or OIIQ membership required
- Advanced written and spoken French and English
- Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail
- Research experience is considered an asset
