We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a contract basis in Kelowna, BC. As a Local LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents and patients within a supportive healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, standards, and physician orders
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to the care team
- Assist with personal care, mobility, and activities of daily living
- Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
Qualifications
- Current registration and in good standing with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and currently reside in or near Kelowna, BC
