Cogir Senior Living seeks a Registered Practical Nurse for planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed care. This role supports seniors through personalized services, care-plan evaluation, accurate documentation, and communication with residents, families, and teams. Experience with unregulated care providers is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care
- Implement and evaluate resident care plans
- Complete accurate clinical assessments and documentation
- Communicate care changes to residents, families, and teams
- Teach, delegate, direct, and mentor care providers
Requirements:
- Current provincial Registered Practical Nurse registration
- Sound clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
- Strong written, oral, organizational, and time-management skills
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
