Cogir Senior Living seeks a Culinary Manager to oversee its culinary and dining department. You will recruit, train, and guide culinary and service professionals while collaborating with senior leaders and residents. The work emphasizes menu variety, premium ingredients, presentation, resident satisfaction, financial oversight, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and oversee culinary and service professionals
- Collaborate with Executive Director, National Director, and Regional Managers
- Develop menus featuring quality ingredients and polished presentation
- Oversee financials, budgeting, costs, and inventory management
- Ensure compliance and support resident satisfaction
Requirements:
- Several years of professional chef experience across kitchen roles
- Supervisory or leadership experience in culinary settings
- Post-secondary culinary management or related education
- Food Safety, Food Handler's, and Smart Serve certification
- Strong communication, computer, financial, and interpersonal skills
