Own Ranked progression, scoring, matchmaking features, and competitive rewards Develop competitive formats and limited-time modes beyond Ranked play Define rules, eligibility, progression, and recognition across skill levels Partner with Analytics, Anti-Cheat, Matchmaking, and Esports Prototype, implement, tune, launch, and iterate live features Requirements:
Five-plus years of professional game design experience Experience designing Ranked modes, rating systems, ladders, or tournaments Familiarity with MMR, skill ratings, and matchmaking constraints Strong scripting, prototyping, analytical, and implementation skills Ability to collaborate across technical and cross-disciplinary teams Bring competitive systems expertise, live-service judgment, and data-informed design to Apex Legends at Respawn.
