The Renfrew Victoria Hospital (RVH) is a 55-bed, fully accredited facility located just 45 minutes west of Ottawa, serving a catchment area of over 60,000. Come join us! We are hiring a new Permanent, Full-Time Dietitian to join our team. This will focus on our nephrology/dialysis patients and inpatients.

As part of the dietitian team, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assess, plan, coordinate, implement and monitor the nutrition care for inpatients and outpatients of our nephrology program (patients requiring haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis) who require assessment
- Provide education and counselling to patients and families on nutrition care plans
- Liaise with outside agencies for appropriate nutritional monitoring upon discharge.
- Develop and update nutrition information materials and teaching aids
- Maintain and update records of patients seen in our EMR (EPIC)
- Recommend enteral feedings or supplements as necessary.
Qualifications
- Possess a Baccalaureate Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with completion of an accredited dietetic internship program
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
- Ability to perform duties within the physical demands of the work area.
- Eligible for membership with the Dietitians of Canada
- Experience with nephrology and diabetes patients is an asset
- Diabetic Educator certification is an preferred
