The Educational Assistant develops and implements educational programming in an integrated setting. This full-time temporary assignment emphasizes behavior management, communication, socialization, and self-help skills. The position also supports planning, assessment, records, and assigned supervision across RCCDSB's schools and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop educational programs in integrated settings
- Implement behavior management and communication supports
- Participate in program and treatment planning
- Maintain accurate daily records
- Provide supervision as assigned
Requirements:
- Two or three-year relevant Community College diploma
- Three to five years of school-setting experience
- Physical ability to perform essential duties
- Autism and behavior management experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills preferred
