Shape Canadian government affairs at Remitly through policy strategy, regulatory analysis, and direct engagement with policymakers in Ottawa or Toronto. This hybrid position works onsite Tuesday through Thursday. As Senior Program Manager for Policy and Regulatory Affairs, you will execute Remitly's federal and provincial strategy for Canada. You will develop advocacy materials, manage external relationships, and advise leadership on policy impacts. The work spans financial services, innovative technologies, and the payments ecosystem. Key Responsibilities:
Meet with ministers' offices, Members of Parliament, and provincial premiers' offices Build relationships with relevant federal departments and agencies Develop engagement plans, policy priorities, and advocacy materials Track legislative and regulatory developments across Canada Communicate actionable policy insights to internal leadership Requirements:
Seven-plus years in government affairs or public policy Direct policymaker engagement and external relationship management experience Strong Ottawa network and Canadian government process knowledge Ability to advise executives and align business functions Bachelor's degree and bilingual English/French capability Bring Canadian policy expertise, political judgment, and communication skills to advance Remitly's regulatory priorities across federal and provincial governments.
