Shape Peel Region’s people agenda as Chief Human Resources Officer, advising senior leaders across Brampton, Caledon, and Mississauga. Lead enterprise workforce strategy through 2027–2029. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, this senior-most people executive will guide Human Resources across Peel Region. The mandate spans workforce planning, organizational talent, labour relations, and employee experience. You will modernize the function while supporting leadership, capability, and workforce resilience. Key Responsibilities:
Set strategic direction for Human Resources across Peel Region Advise the Chief Administrative Officer, Council, and Executive Leadership Team Lead workforce planning, talent, labour relations, and total rewards Advance responsible job redesign, reskilling, mobility, and redeployment Modernize employee and leader experience across the organization Requirements:
At least 10 years of progressively senior leadership experience Enterprise people strategy experience in complex transformation Extensive labour relations and collective bargaining expertise Executive sponsorship experience with enterprise HCM or ERP systems Experience in unionized, regulated environments; public sector preferred Bring strategic HR leadership, labour expertise, and workforce foresight to Peel Region’s evolving public-service mandate.
