As a Territory Manager, you will grow market share by developing business opportunities and positioning Prairie AG as a trusted equipment partner. The work includes equipment sales, customer advising, account management, and sales forecasting. You will collaborate with Parts, Service, Administration, and Leadership teams to deliver customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop territory growth plans increasing market penetration and revenue
- Prospect customers through calls, referrals, networking, meetings, and events
- Promote equipment, products, and solutions matching operational needs
- Visit customers regularly and maintain consistent monthly contact
- Manage accounts, opportunities, forecasts, quotations, and sales reports
Requirements:
- Minimum three years of machinery sales experience
- Agricultural or construction equipment sales experience preferred
- Understanding of agriculture, farming operations, equipment, and industry trends
- Ability to prospect, negotiate, and close sales
- Valid Class 5 license with clean driver's abstract
