Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic issues as a Service Technician at Hepson Equipment, serving customers through shop and field service.
This Service Technician supports safe, reliable, and efficient equipment operation at Hepson Equipment, part of the Reesink Group. The position involves agricultural and heavy equipment service, including repairs, inspections, preventative maintenance, and performance testing. You will collaborate with Parts, Service Advisors, fellow technicians, customers, apprentices, and junior technicians while following manufacturer standards, company safety policies, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic equipment issues
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component replacements
- Test equipment performance after completing service work
- Complete accurate work orders and detailed service notes
- Communicate findings and recommendations to customers and Service Advisors
Requirements:
- Journeyperson Agricultural or Heavy Equipment Technician certification preferred
- Actively registered apprentices will be considered
- Previous agricultural or heavy equipment servicing experience preferred
- Demonstrated mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic ability
- Valid driver's licence required
