Jumbo Operators are needed for Canadian Royalties, a major mining project in Northern Quebec, with The Redpath Group.
This role involves operating single or multiple boom jumbos for drilling and blasting in an underground mining environment.
Candidates will work on a 14/14 rotation at a remote camp, with flights provided from several Quebec locations.
The ideal candidate is experienced, safety-focused, and ready to work in challenging conditions.

- What You’ll Need
- Valid driver’s license
- General Explosives Permit
- DEP in mineral extraction, FMTM (Formation Modulaire du Québec) or equivalent (Ontario Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core)
- 3 years or more experience with Jumbo
- 1 year of experience on a scoop
- 1 year of experience installing services
- 1 year of experience loading and blasting rounds
- Ability to read mine plans and specifications for underground mining
- Ability to read and follow engineered drill profiles
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and independently
- Drug test required
- Knowledge of WHMIS legislation and MSDS sheets
