This Research Associate supports Equity Research Analysts and senior team members at a mining-focused investment dealer. The work combines capital markets, geology or mining knowledge, detailed modelling, and research writing. You will contribute to company, sector, commodity, and thematic analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write company, sector, and commodity research reports
- Build NAV and DCF financial models
- Analyze financial statements, technical reports, and press releases
- Adapt research for digital and social media channels
- Answer clients and support Sales and Trading marketing
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in geology, mining, metallurgy, finance, or commerce
- One to three years of equity research experience preferred
- Metals, mining, or commodity markets experience is an asset
- Strong quantitative, written, and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Excel; Python or AI tools experience is an asset
