Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced 5-Axis CNC Operator/Programmer to program, set up, and operate CNC machines for precision tooling components in the mold and die industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate 5-axis CNC machines
- Interpret CAD files, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Perform machining operations: milling, drilling, tapping
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace
Primary Skills:
- 5 years 5-axis CNC machining experience
- CNC programming expertise
- DMG 5-axis mold parts & multi-axis milling
- Ability to read CAD/technical drawings
- Precision machining (mill, drill, tap)
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving
- English proficiency
Secondary Skills:
- Inspect DMG 5-axis mold parts & multi-axis milled components
- Follow safety & workspace protocols
- Work overtime/weekends as required
- Reliable commute or relocation to Newmarket, ON
