We are hiring an experienced CNC Machinist for a custom job shop environment specializing in medium to large metal components. This is not a production-based role. The ideal candidate must be confident handling one-off and small-batch jobs independently, including setup and machine operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CNC machine setup and operation independently
- Work on custom 1–2 piece machining jobs
- Machine medium to large metal components with precision
- Interpret drawings and follow machining specifications
- Ensure quality and accuracy of finished parts
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience
- Experience in a custom job shop environment is mandatory
- Strong setup and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience handling medium to large-sized parts
- Good understanding of machining tolerances and measurements
