Our client is seeking a Finance Manager to lead a small team and take ownership of day-to-day finance.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounting activities and ensure accurate, timely financial results.
- Develop financial plans and explain performance against targets.
- Provide practical financial insights to management and key stakeholders Oversee payroll activities and coordinate audit preparation.
- Improve financial procedures, reporting tools, and internal safeguards.
- Guide team members and support spending and asset management.
Requirements
- CPA designation OR a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience, including staff supervision.
- Well-rounded knowledge of accounting, financial planning, and payroll.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with Quick Books accounting systems.
- Ability to explain financial information clearly and build effective working relationships.
- A practical approach, strong attention to detail, and sound judgment.
