Program industrial automation systems onsite in Burlington, Ontario, using PLC, robot, and controls expertise while travelling for commissioning support.
Ready Systems seeks a PLC Robot Programmer to develop, integrate, and troubleshoot automated machinery and robotic systems. You will work with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLCs, FANUC, ABB, and Yaskawa robots, plus HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, sensors, and vision systems. The position reports to the Engineering team and supports automation projects across customer and production sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLCs
- Develop and modify FANUC, ABB, and Yaskawa robot programs
- Integrate PLCs with automation equipment and industrial networks
- Commission, debug, test, and optimize machinery onsite
- Document controls, provide technical support, and train personnel
Requirements:
- Post-secondary engineering degree or related education
- Five-plus years programming PLCs and industrial robots
- Knowledge of HMI development and industrial automation
- Experience with Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus, or DeviceNet
- Willingness to travel for commissioning and customer support
