Conduct psychological assessments and deliver evidence-based therapy onsite at Ravensview, Homewood Health's mental health and addictions facility. Use CBT, EMDR, and measurement-based care tools.
As a Psychologist, you will support inpatient clients through assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and individual therapy. You will work within a collaborative interdisciplinary team at Homewood Ravensview in North Saanich, British Columbia. Your practice will address psychiatric, personality, cognitive, memory, intellectual, mood, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychometric assessments, diagnostic formulation, and clinical report writing
- Integrate Touchpoint MBC results into individualized treatment planning
- Provide individual therapy using CBT, CPT, DBT, EMDR, or PET
- Deliver therapeutic groups and communicate progress during interdisciplinary meetings
- Supervise psychology residents and non-registered practitioners
Requirements:
- PhD in Clinical Psychology from an APA or CPA accredited program
- Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Health Care Professionals of BC
- Competency assessing and treating psychiatric disorders, including PTSD and substance use
- Knowledge of clinical research design, analysis, reports, and presentations
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and computerized scoring skills
