This Senior Engineer position focuses on complex fluid-heat transfer analyses for aircraft design and right sizing. You will address pipe network flow, heat transfer, in-flight icing, and thermodynamics challenges. The work includes CFD and finite elements analyses using specialized engineering software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform coupled fluid-heat transfer CFD analyses
- Solve pipe network flow and thermodynamics challenges
- Frame analysis results within aircraft design contexts
- Prepare test plans and document test results
- Write and update Engineering practice documents
Requirements:
- Master's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
- Five to eight years of internal flow CFD experience
- Knowledge of Star-CCM+, Ansys Fluent, SpaceClaim, and SimCenter3D
- Advanced Excel knowledge and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Willingness to travel for short-term assignments
