We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QA Test Analyst (SAP) to join a dynamic, highly technical Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting mission-critical enterprise banking initiatives—primarily focused on major SAP S/4HANA upgrade and implementation projects.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional technical teams, business analysts, and functional consultants to design, develop, and execute end-to-end testing strategies. If you bring deep QA expertise within large enterprise banking environments and have proven hands-on experience testing SAP ecosystems, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End SAP Testing: Design, prepare, and execute functional, system integration (SIT/FIT), user acceptance (UAT), smoke, and regression testing across complex banking systems and SAP modules (including S/4HANA).
- Test Strategy & Planning: Partner with the Senior Test Manager to assess testing scope, provide accurate level-of-effort (LOE) estimates, and establish robust test acceptance criteria.
- Requirements Analysis: Analyze functional design documents and business requirements to ensure full testability, identify cross-system dependencies, and assess risk.
- Scenario & Script Development: Author comprehensive constructive and destructive test cases to ensure deep end-to-end scenario coverage.
- Defect & Workflow Management: Track defects, user stories, and execution progress in Jira/qTest, adhering strictly to enterprise testing lifecycles.
- Automation & Technical Testing: Support test automation initiatives and integrate modern testing practices into sprint cycles as required.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Participate actively in daily scrums/stand-ups and deliver test status updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Must have skills/experience/qualifications:
- Enterprise Experience: 5+ years of dedicated QA or developer experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
- Domain Knowledge: Proven testing experience within the banking or financial services sector.
- SAP Expertise: Solid, hands-on experience in SAP testing (e.g., S/4HANA, TRBK, CRM/AO, Portal/Fiori, FRDP). Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA testing/upgrades is strongly preferred.
- Methodologies: Strong background working in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery frameworks.
- Full-Lifecycle Testing: Demonstrated proficiency in test scope breakdown, test case design, SIT/FIT, UAT execution, regression suites, and test data mining.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced remote team setting.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Hands-on test automation experience with tools such as Tricentis Tosca or Playwright.
- Experience with test management platforms like Tricentis qTest.
- Familiarity with Jira for agile tracking and defect management.
