Operate electric forklifts in Edmonton while moving high-volume LTL freight accurately through a fast-paced cross-dock facility. Support outbound transport from arrival onward.
As an LTL Cross Dock Forklift Operator, you will load, unload, move, and organize freight using electric sit-down counterbalance forklifts. You will also drive stand-up stock picker equipment, pick customer orders, stock loose pick bins, and return re-barcoded cases to high-bay storage. The work requires precise barcode verification and bin placement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload freight across the high-volume cross-dock
- Move and organize freight using electric counterbalance forklifts
- Pick customer orders with stand-up stock picker equipment
- Verify barcodes and place products in precise bin locations
- Complete warehouse cleaning and follow safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid external forklift license with proven cross-dock experience
- Experience in a fast-paced LTL environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably
- Strong safety awareness and spatial awareness
- Reliable transportation to the Edmonton facility
