Operate snow-clearing equipment and maintain facilities for a Calgary client, combining site inspections, repairs, and grounds care. The shift runs 7:00–16:00.
This facilities maintenance position requires hands-on experience with building maintenance, construction, carpentry, or handyman work.
Daily duties span seasonal snow clearing, interior and exterior repairs, fleet support, inventory, safety equipment, and contractor supervision.
Basic Microsoft Office and mobile-device communications are also part of the work.
Key Responsibilities
- Use heavy equipment for seasonal snow clearing and parking sweeps
- Repair drywall, paint, carpet, plumbing, and building finishes
- Supervise third-party contractors and escalate major maintenance issues
- Complete timesheets, administrative reporting, and basic communications
- Maintain spill kits, watering systems, and propane storage levels
Requirements
- Skid Steer ticket
- Experience in building maintenance, construction, carpentry, or handyman work
- Snow-clearing experience
- Valid driver's license with clear driver's abstract
- WHMIS, fall protection, TDG, and first aid are added bonuses
