This building maintenance position suits someone experienced in construction, carpentry, or handyman work. You will support daily facility operations through inspections, repairs, snow clearing, material handling, and basic reporting. The work includes interior and exterior maintenance, vehicle and equipment transport, and contractor oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect facilities, sweep parking lots, remove litter, and clear snow
- Complete carpentry, drywall, painting, carpet, and plumbing repairs
- Transport vehicles, equipment, parts, and bottle recycling
- Manage shipping, receiving, inventory, and maintenance materials
- Monitor safety equipment, spill kits, watering systems, and propane
Requirements:
- Building maintenance, construction, carpentry, or handyman experience
- Skid Steer ticket
- Experience clearing snow
- Valid driver's license and clear driver's abstract
- WHMIS, fall protection, TDG, or first aid are added bonuses
