This full-time permanent Pharmacist position supports prescription dispensing, medication therapy management, and professional health consultations. You will provide OTC advice, oversee prescription accuracy, and collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager, healthcare providers, and support staff. The role also includes non-sterile compounding and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and dispense prescriptions
- Manage medication therapy and conduct health consultations
- Perform Level B non-sterile compounding under NAPRA standards
- Verify prescriptions prepared by assistants and technicians
- Maintain inventory, storage, workflow, and regulatory compliance
Requirements:
- Hold a B.Sc.Phm. or PharmD from a recognized university
- Maintain provincial pharmacist registration in good standing
- Be eligible for immediate provincial pharmacist licensure
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
