  • Design precision mechanisms, tooling, fixtures, actuator-driven assemblies, pneumatics, and equipment interfaces for automated manufacturing platforms.
  • Own mechanical design direction, technical reviews, and release deliverables, including CAD models, drawings, GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, BOMs, and engineering change records.
  • Lead mechanical troubleshooting and design refinement for build, commissioning, manufacturing, supplier, service, and quality escalations.
  • Apply analysis, testing, DFM/DFA, design risk methods, and structured problem solving while coaching others to improve technical rigor and decision quality.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Long-standing experience designing automated equipment, precision mechanisms, tooling, fixtures, actuator-driven systems, and complex motion assemblies.
  • Advanced proficiency creating production-ready mechanical design packages, including CAD models, drawings, GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, BOMs, engineering change records, and release documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply analysis, design risk methods, and manufacturability principles while providing technical leadership through trade-off decisions, design reviews, and structured problem solving.
  • Experience advancing early-stage technologies from concept through prototype build, test, verification, and design iteration, while supporting manufacturing, service, or quality issues through structured troubleshooting.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience with advanced mechanical analysis, including finite element analysis, computational fluid dynamics, vibration analysis, or reliability modeling.
  • Experience managing cross-functional engineering projects, including planning, prioritization, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and delivery of technical milestones.
