RVA seeks a Site Representative for seasonal, contractual hourly assignments running December through March for three years. You will review drawings, contract documents, quality records, material deliveries, and contractor progress. The work requires communication with contract administrators, project managers, contractors, clients, the public, and testing firms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete daily inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports
- Monitor materials, equipment installation, testing, and quality records
- Review drawings, specifications, claims, payments, and contract documentation
- Report contractor progress through photographs and weekly summaries
- Attend meetings and respond to site inquiries
Requirements:
- Three year civil engineering technologist diploma or engineering degree
- Five plus years' water and wastewater construction experience preferred
- Knowledge of contracts, drawings, specifications, and construction risks
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Valid Ontario G license and reliable vehicle required
