As an Emergency Nurse in Belleville, Ontario, you will play a crucial role in a team that serves approximately 115 patients daily. Your responsibilities will include formulating and implementing care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, as well as continuously assessing patients' statuses. The role requires a focus on both physical and emotional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate patient care as a critical thinker
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care
- Evaluate patient outcomes and nursing interventions
- Monitor and assess patients' physical and psychological needs
- Assume charge responsibilities when necessary
Requirements:
- Current Certificate of Registration as RN in Ontario
- 2 years of recent ER experience in the last 5 years
- Certification in ACLS or enrollment in recertification
- Completion of Coronary Care 1 or equivalent
- Ability to manage a physically demanding workload
