Key Responsibilities

  • Turn approved technical specifications into working, tested, accessible, and maintainable front-end applications.
  • Write detailed programming specifications, and design, code, debug, document, and maintain front-end code.
  • Build responsive, internet-ready interfaces and reusable components using approved frameworks, design patterns, and platform standards.
  • Connect front-end components to RESTful APIs, identity and access services, security gateways, workflows, notifications, documents, and other platform services.
  • Create and run unit, component, integration, accessibility, and end-to-end tests.
  • Take part in design walkthroughs, code reviews, backlog refinement, estimation, and sprint and release planning.
  • Work closely with business analysts, UX designers, architects, backend developers, testers, and Dev Ops engineers across the SDLC.
  • Review and update configuration, build, and installation scripts for testing, deployment, conversion, and migration.
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues during development, implementation, migration, and day-to-day operations.
  • Provide post-go-live support for production, performance, usability, accessibility, security, and integration issues.
  • Produce user, system, technical, deployment, and support documentation as needed.
  • Deliver on commitments while adapting to shifting priorities and tight timelines.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Extensive experience designing and building large-scale, multi-client, internet-ready web applications.
  • A proven ability to turn specifications, wireframes, prototypes, user stories, and acceptance criteria into working, tested applications.
  • Experience integrating UIs with RESTful APIs and web services, identity services, security gateways, middleware, and backend components.
  • Working knowledge of relational or hierarchical databases and query languages for retrieving and presenting data.
  • Experience with communication protocols and security approaches such as OAuth 2.0, JSON Web Tokens, and SSL certificates.
  • Experience applying structured and Agile methodologies across the full SDLC, including design, coding, unit testing, deployment, conversion, migration, and implementation.
