Lead SoC bring-up and silicon validation at Qualcomm Technologies, applying RTL inspection and JTAG debugging across Server, Compute, and Mobile chipsets. This role supports Qualcomm's central SoC digital hardware organization. The Senior-level position works with architects, designers, verification engineers, software engineers, and customers to investigate pre-silicon and post-silicon failures. You will develop platform-level debug strategies and isolate failing components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead embedded-platform bring-up and failure analysis
- Inspect RTL and use JTAG for root-cause analysis
- Develop faster platform-level debugging initiatives
- Create partner triage strategies for PVT and marginality issues
- Investigate manufacturing defects and implement corrective actions
Requirements:
- Six-plus years in pre-silicon and post-silicon enabling
- Understanding of basic RTL inspection
- Complex debug experience across pre-silicon and post-silicon phases
- Low-level hardware and software debugging experience
- Master's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, or qualifying equivalent
