Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Emulation Performance Engineer skilled in FPGA prototyping, system debug, and SoC pre-silicon platforms. This senior engineering role supports Qualcomm’s central SoC digital hardware organization. You will work across emulation tools, synthesis, place and route, constraints, clocking, timing closure, and waveform generation. Collaboration spans architects, designers, verification engineers, software engineers, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop uniform methodologies for emulation build generation and debug
- Support FPGA-based emulation platforms across various configurations
- Perform pre-silicon enablement and bring-up for new SoC designs
- Bring up FPGA emulation and prototyping hardware and software
- Debug low-level software, hardware, and digital circuit issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and four years of related experience
- Master’s degree and three years of related experience
- PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, C, Python, and TCL
- Experience with Xilinx or Intel FPGAs and timing closure
- Apply emulation methodology, FPGA prototyping, and system debug expertise to Qualcomm SoC pre-silicon development.
