Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, this intermediate Building Operator provides technical support across an assigned portfolio or building complex. The work covers preventative maintenance, repairs, BAS monitoring, tenant requests, and environmentally responsible operations. You will help maintain operational efficiency while supporting health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain climate control systems
- Oversee preventative maintenance and unscheduled mechanical repairs
- Monitor BAS alarms and troubleshoot comfort issues
- Perform floor checks using Kode Labs platforms
- Respond professionally to tenant service requests
Requirements:
- Valid 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate or Building Operator Certificate
- Minimum three years commercial high-rise building operations experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and minor repair experience
- Ability to interpret drawings, manuals, and safety documentation
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
