The Opportunity

As a Technology Strategy & Transformation, Senior Associate, unlock your potential and embrace the chance to drive meaningful outcomes that’ll elevate your career.

You will help clients address complex business and technology challenges and turn strategy into meaningful outcomes.

You will join a collaborative and entrepreneurial team serving clients across British Columbia and Canada.

Our work spans industries, with a significant focus on Government, retail and consumer, utilities, and technology businesses.

We work closely with specialists across our breadth of technology abilities to help clients define their direction, make informed investment decisions, and deliver sustainable transformation.

This is a consulting role for someone who combines structured problem-solving, client engagement skills, and practical technology experience, and loves working at the intersection of business and technology, navigating ambiguity, developing evidence-based recommendations, and helping clients move from strategy through execution.

Your role will include, but isn’t limited to

  • Support and lead components of technology strategy and transformation engagements for clients across industries.
  • Work with clients to understand their business priorities, technology environments, operating challenges, and transformation objectives.
  • Apply structured, hypothesis-driven problem-solving to define issues, conduct research and interviews, analyze information, test options, and develop practical recommendations.
  • Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative information, translating complex findings into clear insights, decisions, and actionable roadmaps.
  • Support projects involving technology and digital strategy, technology operating model design, system selection, process redesign, cloud transformation and migration, data and AI strategy, automation, digital enablement, and technology architecture.
  • Help clients identify, assess, and prioritize business and technology requirements, investments, capabilities, and initiatives.
  • Develop business cases, options analyses, financial or economic models, implementation roadmaps, executive presentations, written briefs, and other client deliverables.
  • Support the implementation of technology strategies and transformation initiatives, bringing together people, process, data, and technology considerations.
  • Build trusted and collaborative relationships with client stakeholders, Pw C colleagues, and technical specialists.
  • Communicate complex ideas clearly through structured presentations, concise written materials, and effective client discussions.
  • Contribute to proposals, presentations, oral pitches, account activities, thought leadership, and other business development initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, particularly with cloud, data, AI, digital, architecture, and implementation professionals.
  • Support the development of junior team members through coaching, knowledge sharing, and timely, constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, high-performing, and sustainable Pw C team culture.
  • What You’ll Bring
  • Your skills, knowledge, and experiences are what set you apart. Here’s what we look for:
  • Previous consulting experience in a professional services firm, technology consultancy, or a highly consultative internal advisory environment.
  • Experience approaching complex problems through structured analysis, fact-finding, hypothesis development, stakeholder engagement, option assessment, and recommendation development.
  • Practical experience in technology strategy, technology transformation, technology advisory, digital transformation, or a related field.
  • Exposure to one or more relevant technology domains, such as cloud, data, artificial intelligence, Gen AI, digital, infrastructure, technology architecture, automation, software delivery, architecture, or technology operations.
  • Experience contributing to projects such as technology or digital strategies, operating model design, system selection, process redesign, cloud transformation, data and AI strategy, business case development, or transformation planning.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to organize ambiguous information, identify key issues, and develop clear conclusions.
  • Strong business analysis skills and an understanding of how people, process, data, and technology contribute to successful transformation.
  • The ability to prepare clear, structured, and persuasive Power Point presentations, written briefs, reports, and other executive-level communications.
  • Experience working effectively in teams and managing relationships with clients, colleagues, and technical specialists.
  • Strong verbal communication and facilitation skills, including the confidence to participate in client interviews, workshops, working sessions, and presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, take ownership of assigned work, and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.
  • An interest in business development and experience contributing to proposals, pitches, sales activities, or client account development.
  • The ability to travel to client sites when required.
  • The preferred work location for this opportunity is Vancouver, with Victoria also considered, reflecting the team’s need for an additional locally based Senior Associate.
  • As a requirement, a Security Clearance is mandatory for all staff who’ll be engaged on these assignments.

Prior to applying, please review the Government of Canada website to ensure you meet the eligibility requirements to obtain this clearance.

This’ll become a condition of your employment with Pw C should you receive an offer from us.

The following would be considered assets, but are not mandatory

  • Experience working in the British Columbia market and/or with British Columbia public sector organizations.
  • Experience in business case development, economic analysis, financial modelling, benefits analysis, or investment prioritization.
