The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in recruitment is still in its infancy. We understand you may wonder how and why we use it. At certain stages of our recruitment process, we rely on AI to enhance your experience. For example, during the CV review or the creation of personalized recommendation lists, a chatbot may ask you for clarifications or schedule an interview with you. AI helps us better combat bias, as candidate evaluations are conducted fairly and equitably, without identifying information such as name or gender being known. It also allows us to better identify suitable candidates for a position and assess the link between their skills, experience, and chances of success at PwC Canada. While AI facilitates certain steps in our recruitment process, final hiring decisions are always made by people.
