- Monday & Tuesday: 08:00 - 16:30 (30-minute break)
- Wednesday & Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00 (30-minute break)
- Friday: 08:00 - 12:30
Job Description: St Martin’s Hospital is seeking a Band 6 Locum MSK Physiotherapist to join our outpatient physiotherapy team. This role is essential for providing high-quality musculoskeletal physiotherapy services to patients at St Martin’s, Keynsham, and Paulton Hospitals.
What your responsibilities will be for this Physiotherapist role?
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients with musculoskeletal conditions, developing tailored treatment plans to address their specific needs.
- Implement and evaluate a variety of physiotherapy interventions, including exercise prescription and manual therapy techniques.
- Monitor patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
- Provide education and advice to patients regarding their conditions, promoting self‑management and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with healthcare standards and regulations, ensuring continuity of care.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
- Experience working in an MSK physiotherapy setting
- Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own transport to travel between locations
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient‑centered approach to care
