Advise global investment teams on complex transactions and legal risk at PSP Investments, working across Montréal, Ottawa, London, New York, and Hong Kong. As Director, Legal Affairs, you will support Private Equity, Infrastructure, Real Estate, and Natural Resources teams. You will advise on mergers and acquisitions, workouts, reorganizations, dispositions, joint ventures, financings, and fund investments. The role also supports Credit Investments and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice for global investment activities and operations Support complex transactions, workouts, and reorganizations Collaborate on AI tools with Legal Operations Manage external counsel relationships and legal resources Ensure investments comply with applicable laws and policies Requirements:
Membership in a Canadian provincial or territorial Bar Association At least 10 years’ international mergers and acquisitions experience Experience in infrastructure, private equity, or real estate transactions Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder relationship skills English and French proficiency, or willingness to learn Apply your transaction, negotiation, and legal risk expertise while supporting PSP Investments’ global private markets activities and stakeholders.
