Drive government technology growth with SaaS and public-sector business development expertise in a full-time hybrid position across Ontario. Build qualified opportunities. PSD Citywide seeks a Business Development Manager for Canada and the United States. You will develop municipal relationships, research government priorities, and create qualified sales opportunities. The work includes outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, and collaboration with Regional Sales Managers. Understanding procurement processes and longer public-sector buying cycles is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies for assigned government technology markets
- Research municipalities, accounts, opportunities, and market expansion areas
- Generate qualified pipeline through targeted prospecting and outreach
- Qualify opportunities and transition them to Regional Sales Managers
- Coordinate campaigns and market programs with Marketing
Requirements:
- Five or more years in business development, sales, or account development
- Experience engaging municipalities or public-sector customers
- Understanding of government procurement and stakeholder structures
- Strong verbal, written, and research skills
- Experience with CRM and sales engagement platforms
- Bring SaaS knowledge, outbound prospecting, and government stakeholder experience to grow PSD Citywide’s qualified pipeline across Ontario.
