PROPAK ENERGY SERVICES seeks a Compression Service Mechanic with Journeyman Millwright or Heavy Duty Mechanic certification. The work covers gas plants and adjacent field facilities, supporting equipment operation, customer relations, and service delivery. Apply experience with Waukesha, Caterpillar, and natural gas driven compression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and repair gas compressors and engines
- Perform startups, overhauls, warranty work, and repairs
- Diagnose engine compressor problems and recommend solutions
- Verify alignment, settings, pressures, torque, and cooler checks
- Maintain service documentation and order necessary parts
Requirements:
- Journeyman Millwright or Heavy Duty Mechanic certification
- Five or more years with Waukesha and Caterpillar compression
- Ability to work remotely without supervision
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and organizational abilities
- Flexibility for 25–50% overnight travel
