Prodigy Group is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to organize project transactions, billings, payments, and financial records.
The role supports core A/P and A/R activities, vendor inquiries, trade payments, client collections, and employee expense claims.
You will coordinate with Project Accountants, project management teams, Project Teams, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process supplier and trade invoices for approval
- Coordinate payments to trades and vendors according to terms
- Follow up on vendor statements, inquiries, and outstanding invoices
- Collect client payments and send monthly accounts receivable statements
- File payment backups and maintain accurate supporting documentation
Requirements
- At least three years of relevant experience
- Construction industry experience is required
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel
- ERP system knowledge; Jonas Premier considered an asset
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and flexibility
