On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Senior Developer for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
The successful candidate will be involved in designing, developing, configuring, integrating, testing, and supporting Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions within a modern Java and microservices environment. This project involves enhancing and supporting existing platforms, ensuring secure and scalable integrations across web, mobile, and customer experience teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions
- Configure and integrate Guidewire solutions within Java and microservices environments
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver secure integrations
- Support the full software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to production support
- Conduct testing, deployment, and enhancements of solutions
Mandatory Skills:
- Extensive experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter
- Proficiency in Gosu programming and Guidewire customization
- Strong Java fundamentals
- Experience with Spring Boot microservices
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Proficiency in API integrations and web services
- Experience with integration and automated regression testing
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Guidewire ACE certification
- Familiarity with MongoDB for microservice use cases
- Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Knowledge of secure API design and OAuth2
- Familiarity with cloud and DevOps practices
This is a 6-month contract position. Start Date: ASAP. Assignment Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in the office.
