As Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will guide complex engineering and design across Primero's North American projects. The work spans EPC/EPCM environments, mechanical systems, equipment selection, plant layouts, procurement support, and client engagement. You will also mentor engineers and designers while supporting regional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as mechanical engineering technical expert across North American projects
- Lead design deliverables through feasibility and detailed engineering
- Review calculations, specifications, datasheets, equipment lists, and reports
- Support equipment packages, vendor evaluations, and technical bid assessments
- Contribute to mentoring, business development, and strategic initiatives
Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- 15+ years across engineering, project delivery, or site support
- Mechanical design experience in mining and mineral processing
- Principal or technical expert-level capability within EPC/EPCM environments
- Procurement, vendor management, site execution, leadership, and communication experience
