Lead mining project engineering with contractor management and site execution at Primero America. This role may include project site activities. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will support mining and heavy industrial projects from engineering and procurement through construction and commissioning. You will coordinate multidisciplinary delivery, solve technical problems, manage contractors, and communicate with clients. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you may act as Project Manager on assigned projects or support larger projects as a senior team member. Key Responsibilities:
Lead execution activities against scope, schedule, budget, and quality Manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors through commissioning Review documentation and ensure applicable code compliance Coordinate disciplines, costs, schedules, and scope changes Provide site engineering support, including modifications and lift studies Requirements:
Mechanical or Structural Engineering degree, or equivalent 10+ years in mining project engineering and delivery Project engineering and project management experience Construction and commissioning site experience Primavera preferred; MS Project minimum Apply project engineering, technical problem-solving, and contractor management expertise across Primero America mining projects.
