Primaris REIT seeks a Security Manager to oversee comprehensive property security programs. You will protect tenants, shoppers, employees, visitors, and property through emergency planning, loss prevention, incident management, and security infrastructure. The position requires supervisory experience, retail experience, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Emergency Response, Fire and Life Safety, and Business Continuity Plans
- Supervise third-party security providers and coordinate training programs
- Respond to incidents and document reports, classifications, and after-action reviews
- Coordinate tenants, law enforcement, fire personnel, and security peers
- Manage drills, audits, budgets, systems, and safety infrastructure projects
Requirements:
- Five years of security or related experience
- Two years of supervisory experience
- Degree or diploma in security, criminology, or related studies
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and CPR/First Aid knowledge
- Criminal background clearance and required security licensing
