As Service Manager, you will lead technicians and coordinators while maintaining efficient, profitable department operations. The work combines scheduling, work order management, budgets, labor performance, and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate with Parts, Sales, and customers to support quality, timely service and equipment logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily Service Department operations for efficiency and profitability
- Assign technician work and review job progress
- Approve internal, external, and warranty work orders
- Monitor payroll, labor performance, productivity, and departmental metrics
- Handle escalated customer concerns and coordinate equipment logistics
Requirements:
- Five-plus years in a service environment
- At least two years leading or supervising teams
- Experience managing budgets, labor performance, and metrics
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dealership management software
- High school diploma or equivalent; rotating weekend availability
